Chinese smartphone manufacturer Meizu has unveiled the latest addition to its flagship 20 series, the Meizu 20 Classic smartphone, which is now available for purchase in China.
Introduction of Meizu 20 Classic
The Meizu 20 Classic smartphone is the fourth device in the series, following the release of the standard Meizu 20, Meizu 20 Pro, and Meizu 20 Infinity. This newly introduced smartphone shares many specifications with the standard Meizu 20 but features new color options and a few design modifications.
This smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, coupled with the Adreno 740 GPU. It runs on the Flyme 10 custom skin, based on the Android 13 operating system, and is offered in two storage variants: 16GB/256GB and 16GB/512GB.
In terms of its display, the Meizu 20 Classic boasts an OLED panel with a 6.55-inch screen size and a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. It also supports a high refresh rate of 144Hz.
On the rear, the smartphone houses a triple-camera setup, including a 50MP main camera, a 16MP ultrawide camera, and an additional 5MP camera, all within a circular camera module. Additionally, it features a 32MP front-facing camera for selfies.
The device is equipped with a 4700mAh battery and supports 67W wired fast charging, compatible with standards like PD3, PPS, and QC4+.
Other notable features include 5G connectivity, dual-band Wi-Fi (802.11 а/b/g/n/ac/6e/7), Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, various location services (GPS, GLONASS, BDS, GALILEO, and QZSS), stereo speakers, and an under-display fingerprint scanner.
In terms of design, the Meizu 20 Classic is IP54 rated, offering dust and splash resistance. It is available in three color options: Yusheng White, Iron Grey, and Green. The Meizu Singularity’s new logo is featured on the rear panel, and the Meizu logo has been moved to the bottom of the right side panel.
As for pricing, the 16GB/256GB storage variant is priced at CNY 3,099, while the 16GB/512GB model costs CNY 3,399. The smartphone is currently available for purchase in China.
