The Oppo Developers Conference, which recently concluded, brought forth a significant announcement regarding the inclusion of Phone Link and Link to Windows support for Oppo, OnePlus, and Realme phones.
Until now, this feature was exclusive to certain Samsung and Honor devices, along with the Surface Duo. Microsoft has confirmed the expansion of this functionality to encompass devices from the OnePlus, Oppo Find, Oppo Reno, and Realme series.
Phone Link is an application available for download on the Google Play Store. This app facilitates the linking of smartphones, enabling users to seamlessly view and respond to messages, receive notifications, navigate specific apps, and perform file transfers between their PC and smartphone.
A complementary application, Link to Windows, must be installed on Windows 10/11 computers. Once installed, connecting both devices becomes a straightforward process.
It’s crucial to note that only devices running ColorOS 14 will be compatible initially. However, OxygenOS 14 and Realme UI 5.0 phones will join the roster once OnePlus and Realme, as independent brands, launch their flagship devices.
