Additionally, the slightly newer version of the phone bearing the model number SM-G990B2 is also in the process of receiving the new security update, featuring firmware version G990B2XXS5EWJ1. This update is likewise available throughout Europe.
Samsung’s documentation confirms that the October 2023 security patch addresses numerous security vulnerabilities that were identified in the previous version of the software running on Samsung phones and tablets. It does not introduce any new features, performance enhancements, or reliability improvements.
